Funding

Funding workforce development presentation from 4 July event (provides tips and training providers to consider how to assist employers reference workforce development costs in funding bids).

Funding Guide to Workforce Development

Six million strong - You Tube video, which accompanied NCVYS's funding bid to the Growth and Innovation Fund.  

Quality

Guide to Training Quality.  Published by NCVYS on behalf of the Catalyst consortium. Aimed at training providers, this guide helps to consider how to improve the quality of training provision.

New Framework of Outcomes for Young People. Published by the Young Foundation on behalf of the Catalyst consortium. It should prove invaluable to training providers when bid writing.

Qualifications and Training

New forthcoming training programme - Introduction to Working with Young People - information sheet.

Level 2 Award/Certificate in Working with Young People information sheet for training providers.

Forthcoming changes to teaching qualifications - at the event some delegates were discussing proposed forthcoming changes to teaching qualifications. This Institute for Learning (IfL) page provides an update, although there are no clear decisions as yet.
