Speaking Out Briefing No.24: Housing and Homelessness

Providing all children and young people with quality accommodation to prevent
homelessness is a major priority and challenge for both central and local
government. This paper sets out the current policy and legal context
surrounding children, young people and homelessness; and the children and
young people’s voluntary and community sector. It gives case studies of good
practice currently taking place and considers possible implications for the
sector.
