Synopsis: This is our second local networks event of 2009-2010 for NCVYS members. There will be a flexible session on young people’s participation in local networks; presentations from the NCVYS-funded Link Up projects; a session on evidencing impact, with a speaker from the high profile Valuing Infrastructure Programme http://www.strategy-impact.org.uk/page.asp?id=1548 as well as updates from local networks and the latest NCVYS news. Immediately after the residential on 18 February there will be a Vetting and Barring session with external speakers, to help you get up to speed with the V&B Scheme and how it will affect your work.
Objectives
• Develop your perspective on national policies and trends that affect your work
• Advocate for changes you want NCVYS to act on
• Promote your own work
• Network with contacts
• Get information updates
• Learn alongside those that work in your sector
Audience
This is a NCVYS members only event aimed at people working in a paid or voluntary role for organisations providing infrastructure support in:
• Safeguarding
• Participation
• Diversity
The event will be held at Pendrell Hall College, StaffordshireHall
