NCVYS Young Partners Practice Sharing Event
Thursday 15 April 2010
10:30am – 4pm
Resource Centre, Holloway Road, London
We’re pleased to say that we have rearranged the Young Partners Practice Sharing event for April 15th. Further details below.
Do you or anyone you know, work with young people or who would like to share youth participation practice?
The National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) is holding a free, one-day practice sharing event for organisations to share their experiences of youth participation and hear from a range of projects.
Attendees will be encouraged to share their own experiences with young people from ENVOY, the national youth forum for NCVYS. The event is targeted at those developing youth participation in their organisations with the aim of highlighting the quality of youth participation work going on around the country and to equip people with action planning tools to take away with them and develop in partnership with young people.
Objectives
• Share youth participation practice within your organisation
• Identify areas of development for youth participation within your organisation
• Find out more about the Young Partners Award and how it works to celebrate youth participation
• Learn about the shortlisted organizations and how they increase young people’s involvement
Audience
• Youth practitioners and NCVYS members
• Young people from shortlisted projects
• Young people from ENVOY and NCVYS member organisations
These will be presented in interesting and interactive workshops from the shortlisted Young Partners Award projects.
