Michael Gove responds to young people

Secretary of State Michael Gove has responded to a letter sent to him on behalf of over 8 million young people. The Education Secretary's response comes after he received a letter from 15 youth organisations expressing grave concerns with his comments about youth policy.

In a supporting survey which complements the youth organisations' letter, the involved parties polled a selection of young people, 92 per cent of whom feel that the government does not do enough to show they care about young people and their futures. The survey also showed that 95 per cent believe that youth policy should be a key priority for national government.
