Overarching Strategic Partnership events
Over the coming weeks and months, NCVYS, as part of the Department for Education's Overarching Strategic Partnership, are pleased to be offering a number of FREE events to support those working in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector with children, young people and families.
The Unemployment Roundtable (28 February, Manchester) will share knowledge of Rathbone’s perspective on youth unemployment and also offers an opportunity to share peer learning on approaches to youth unemployment. The Eye of the Storm seminar (20 March, Reading) is a one-day, multi-sector health and wellbeing seminar for service planners and practitioners. The Justice for Youth and Free from Trouble seminar (29 February, London) explores youth justice, early intervention and the riots with Leap Confronting Conflict and Just for Kids Law.
Policy classes (London) will look at prominent areas of policy development - localism (21 February), education (8 March), safeguarding (15 March) and benefit reforms (22 March) and bring together VCSE organisations to learn from each other about the impact of policy initiatives.
See the events page for more details of all the events.
